We provide resources for individuals and families in need of assistance with educational scholarships, hardships of natural disasters and extraordinarily expensive necessary medical procedures.
We are dedicated to providing vital resources and support to individuals and families facing life’s most challenging circumstances. A Commitment to Education and Empowering Transitions:
“I founded Givens Charities, Inc. out of my own personal experience navigating the challenges of returning to college after several career changes, including my transition from military to civilian life. It’s often said that the average college graduate will change careers at least three times in their lifetime, and I am living proof of that. Even now, I’m still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. Motivated by the desire to ‘be part of the solution’, I created a plan to support individuals like me—those who, early in life, face the challenge of raising a family with limited financial resources for higher education. GCI’s mission is to provide a user-friendly pathway for disadvantaged community members to access higher education, offering them a hand up toward achieving their educational goals. Additionally, we aim to support fellow citizens enduring extraordinary hardships.”
